We are pleased to announce and extend a warm welcome back to Heather Thompson on her second exhibition and sponsorship with Paint my Meditation.
Heather recently exhibited with us at Seattle Des Independants Avant Garde Exhibition Sponsored by Paint my Meditation at Gallery Mack which resulted in sold work and full representation by the hosting Gallery.
This came as little surprise as Heather's work speaks for itself. Her remarkable fresh perspective is gaining momentum fast, gaining interest not just among collectors and galleries but also K5 News.

If you are not familiar with Heather's work. Thompson is a neurodivergent artist with Blue Phoenix Art. In the wake of a life changing, and ultimately life affirming, traumatic brain injury in 2011, she suddenly developed the ability to paint. Called Acquired Savantism with Synesthesia by the worldwide expert Dr. Darold Treffert, Heather is one of a handful of people in the world who have experienced this neurological phenomenon.
Prior to the accident, Heather was a nationally recognized CEO in healthcare. While the injury effectively ended her career, she discovered the gift of art and never looked back. Now, Heather is a single mother, working artist and contemplative monastic living in the country with her menagerie of animals, including goats, a horse, cats, and a bulldog.
She is entirely self-taught, following only intuition as her guide. She paints in abstract acrylics, along with digital painting, mixed media, drawing, encaustics and much more.
